Parish Mission Statement
We are the people of God called to serve God and one another as we journey toward the fullness of God's Kingdom. The celebration of the Eucharist is the center of our Roman Catholic lives. We welcome all to be a part of our parish family, worshipping, praying and serving with us.
News from St Margaret’s: St. Margaret Rosary Altar Society is collecting New Unwrapped baby items for Birthright in Schenectady during the month of May. There is a bassinet set up in the vestibule of St. Margaret’s church. If you have any questions please contact Linda LaBrie (518) 384-3986.

Family Promise The Family Promise Ministry of St. Madeleine's/St. Gabriels and OLQP/ St. Margaret's is hosting three families at St. Gabriel's church Sunday May 19- Sunday May 26. Volunteers are needed to help with meals, desserts, fellowship (spending time with the families in the evening), overnights, set-up/take down. Donations of Grocery Store give cards are always appreciated to offset the costs of host week, we are hosting three families total 10 People, 8 Adults (including two teenagers) and three children (6 year old, 4 year old and 3 year old.) Vacation Bible School 2024 SCUBA! Diving into friendship with God! Monday 8/12-Friday 8/16 from 9am - 11am for children entering PK4-Grade 5
Join us for a fun and faith filled week at Vacation Bible School. We'll hear Bible stories, make fun crafts, learn new songs, participate in a mission project, and make new friends. Parents can attend with their children, or they can drop them off; however, if a parent is attending, they must register so that they can be included in the count of the group.

FURTHERING YOUR FAITH: We invite you all to join Fr. Yusko and Fr. Dan McHale on Tuesday May 21 at 6:30 pm at St. Madeleine Sophie for another installment of the Furthering Your Faith series.
Fr. McHale will deliver a talk on Angels. The talk will begin at 6:30 pm with an opportunity for questions followed by Eucharistic Adoration from 7:30 to 8:30 pm. During this time priests will be available to hear confessions. Come and further your faith.
Furthering Your Faith is a collaboration between parish networks in the Capital Region, offering monthly lectures on a variety of topics germane to Catholic life. Each one-hour talk will be followed by a period of prayer, featuring an hour of Eucharistic Adoration and Benediction. These events are free of charge and open to all ages. We look forward to seeing you there.

ATTENTION YOUNG ADULTS
Mohawk Catholic is a REGIONAL YOUNG ADULT GROUP based in Schenectady. Gatherings are held on the second Thursday of each month in the St. Gabriel the Archangel Church basement. We invite all young adults (ages 18-39) to join us as we journey together in growing closer to knowing and loving Jesus Christ.
Our next Bible Study will be Thursday, June 13th at 7 PM. Bring an open heart and a friend, we'd love to see you there!
