Nursery School

Our goal is to provide a fun, caring and loving, educational environment for children that is uniquely Catholic, offering an opportunity for them to grow intellectually and emotionally.   Our program offers an amazing mix of hands-on learning, child-directed activities, academics, crafts and more for your child.  The program introduces the Catholic faith along with challenging academic growth to help a child learn and thrive in a nurturing classroom.  Contact Debbie Male, our Director,  at 518 346-4926 x 201 for more information, or to register for our program.

Toilet Training Requirements:

Students attending the program are required to be fully toilet trained prior to the start of the school year. (No pull-ups or training pants)

Illness Policy:

Children which show signs of illness, such as temperature greater than 100 degrees orally, cannot be accepted to class. Staff members are not permitted to administer over the counter medications to students. All students must be symptom free from any pink eye, rashes, discolored mucus, vomiting, diarrhea, lice, parasites, or fever for 48 hours before they are permitted to attend classes. This is to ensure that contagious illnesses are not spread to peers and staff.

Inclement Weather:

Our Lady Queen of Peace Nursery School generally follows the Schalmont school calendar with special days or holidays modified as necessary. Cancellation of classes due to inclement weather will be addressed via the local news channels following the Schalmont School calendar. Winter weather can be unpredictable at times and our preschool will strive to maintain a schedule that is safe for our students and staff.
