Altar Rosary Society
The Altar Rosary Society (or the ‘Rosarians’ as they are sometimes called), is an organization open to males and females of the parish who have a special devotion to Our Blessed Mother.
We have a Communion Sunday on the first Sunday of each month, where members are encouraged to attend and sit together for Mass. The Rosarians meet on the first Monday of the month for the recitation of the rosary and a meeting. At the meeting, parish business is discussed and refreshments are served. We discuss ways we can support the parish and our community at large, through several fund raisers each year.
If you would like to get to know some of the members of our parish, give us a try, you will make some very wonderful friends.
The OLQP Altar Rosary Society gathered at Briar Creek on December 8th, 2024, for their annual Christmas party. The party was well attended, the food was great and everyone had a joyous and festive time!

A Rosary Rally was held October 12, 2024, at Our Lady Queen of Peace. The rally was held nationwide to commemorate Our Lady’s apparitions at Fatima and to fulfill her request to pray the Rosary for peace.

CHEER BROUGHT TO FELLOW PARISHIONER: A lift to Marie Rhinesmith recently when she received a visit from Helene Stachewicz and Maria Cimino. Marie Rhinesmith is recovering, and making good progress.

Congratulations to Lillian, the 2024 Recipient of the Altar Rosary Society Scholarship! Lillian is undecided, but thinks she may go to Daemen University this fall, where she will be studying to be a Physician’s Assistant. She accepted the award this morning [Sunday, June 2, 2024].

Praying for Peace: The Rosary Rally for Peace in Ukraine [sponsored by the OLQP Rosarians] was held at Our Lady Queen of Peace - April 2, 2022,1 pm. It was simply beautiful. A surprise to all Joanne O'Hara brought the pilgrim statue of Our Lady of Fatima. What a beautiful event put on by a beautiful group.
