Offerings and Memorials

Our Lady Queen of Peace and St Margaret of Cortona offer ways to honor living and deceased relatives and friends.

Parishioners may request the memorials listed below at either Our Lady Queen of Peace or St Margaret of Cortona in memory or in honor of a loved one. Intentions will be published in the weekly bulletin.

Please contact the parish office to schedule:

Bread and Wine Offering $20 – Loved ones can be remembered weekly with the bread and wine consecrated at Mass.

Sanctuary Candle $20 – The Sanctuary Candle serves as a reminder of Christ our light and of our call to pray to God without ceasing.

Daily Mass - The offering for Mass intentions is $15.

The Memorial Fund:   Sometimes families request donations to a memorial fund “in lieu of flowers” [in place of flowers].  Donating to a church memorial fund in memory of a loved one is a meaningful way to honor their life and legacy while supporting a cause they cared about. This act of generosity can help perpetuate their memory and benefit the church community.

There's no set amount for a memorial donation. Choose an amount that feels meaningful to you and reflects your relationship with the deceased.

When making your donation, please make your check payable to either Our Lady Queen of Peace, or St. Margaret of Cortona.

Flowers to Adorn the Sanctuary in memory of loved ones are also accepted.  Please notify the Parish office at 518 346-4926 to schedule your date.  Ordering and delivery will need to be handled by the requestor.  A time for delivery must be within the hours of 9am to 11 am on the Friday before the weekend wanted in the sanctuary.

E-Giving:  An easy and secure way to contribute
your offerings to God.
